I was wondering if a few people with first gen tuono or rsv could take a pic of there clocks with ignition on so I can see where the needle should sit ! I know its suppose to be down near oil light but a picture speaks a thousand words sometimes and I was thinking if a few could put a photo up just incase 1 is not the right place. Am I right in thinking the only way to set the rev counter needle in the right place it to lift earth lead on and off till it in the right place ! Seems a weired way to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

The rev counter should always sit in the same place when ignition is on and bike not running whether the battery was disconnected or not, were you not asking where the dial moves to as soon as the ignition is turned on,this is done by holding in the C button on the display. This defaults back to 6000rpm on my tuono when the battery is disconnected, holding in the C button gets it back to where I want again. Maybe I am picking you up wrong. |
