Wheres my duvet.....you lot are too hard for me........anything under 20C is too cold......I mean, do I look like a polar bear?????  Nope, not me, not now not ever.  Not to mention all the slippy crap they are putting on the roads now, whats that about?  at least with salt, you could see it, you still had some grip....that 'wet' crap is great for no ice, but is only 2 levels above slippy.....so no good really.

MWWAAHHHH!!!! LOL!

PS, I'm cold.....

The Mille will be staying in hibernation a bit longer yet. May take the old Kwaka for leg stretch on Sunday though. Weather permitting!

Other than this last week I've been using the old BMW R100Rs  on a daily basis, and the TL1000 comes out to play when its not raining, missing the Tuono but it won't be long before it comes out to play !

could do with a bit of sun mind, bored with the rain now !

Riding? Now? Confused

Sod that,my bikes probably won't see daylight till March.

I've done the all weather, hardy biker bit and decided that like flying, riding is best done in a warmer more pleasant environment.

Bring on the heatwaves and sticky tarmac.

I'm with Ian on this! I don't mind if its cold but dry, though its sacrilege to expose an ape to wet/salted roads!

Griff,

I have to say I agree with 'Snowman' I think you are trying too hard to advance the clock there. There's snow on its way, loads of the stuff......

Evil Smile

Wacko As long as it's dry-ish and the bike has been AP'd, then I'm out there, if not then dare I mention it, it's the Ducati MTS 1200 for me.

Yes I know I've just used a swear word for this forum, but riding a bike is riding a bike isn't it and it is still an Italian one.

I still rode back to Northwich in the morning, FM it was cold, I couldn't speAk for hours after I got there, total numb gob !!

LOL

Too true, but I'm old enough to not give a toss now,I've done all the foul weather 52 weeks a year riding when I was young and poor.

Now I'm old (and still poor) if the weather is crap I'll use a car instead.

Bikes are for fun, when it's cold, wet and slippery outdoors I'll do my commuting in the warm and dry with a nice sound system for company.

See you all in the spring Wink

Kind of agree. Now I've got a nice clean bike I wanna keep it that way and not ride it day to day. I'm looking to buy a cg 125 for when the weather is sh*t. I just need to learn how to have fun on it like I did the c90

I've gotta get rid of the yellow paint, it like one other colour has been unlucky for me, time to try Red me finks lol lol

I love my bike and want to keep it shiney, slippy, filthy, salty, wet roads ain't my idea of fun any more. I spend the whole ride wondering if I'm going to fall off. I guess I'm too old for it.
