Breakfast run planned for Sunday. All across Exmoor, down to Porlock Weir for a full English then the coast road to Lynmouth and on to Barny. Lovely. 100 miles of high speed happiness.

Wheres my duvet.....you lot are too hard for me........anything under 20C is too cold......I mean, do I look like a polar bear????? Nope, not me, not now not ever. Not to mention all the slippy crap they are putting on the roads now, whats that about? at least with salt, you could see it, you still had some grip....that 'wet' crap is great for no ice, but is only 2 levels above slippy.....so no good really.

Riding? Now?
Sod that,my bikes probably won't see daylight till March.
I've done the all weather, hardy biker bit and decided that like flying, riding is best done in a warmer more pleasant environment.

Griff, I have to say I agree with 'Snowman' I think you are trying too hard to advance the clock there. There's snow on its way, loads of the stuff......
As long as it's dry-ish and the bike has been AP'd, then I'm out there, if not then dare I mention it, it's the Ducati MTS 1200 for me.
Yes I know I've just used a swear word for this forum, but riding a bike is riding a bike isn't it and it is still an Italian one.

Too true, but I'm old enough to not give a toss now,I've done all the foul weather 52 weeks a year riding when I was young and poor.
Now I'm old (and still poor) if the weather is crap I'll use a car instead.
Bikes are for fun, when it's cold, wet and slippery outdoors I'll do my commuting in the warm and dry with a nice sound system for company.

The afternoon sun was just right today. You couldn't see if anything was behind you and that made for the more exciting ride. roads dried out just right and with the wife on the back and a new front tyre off we set. The modded collector and edd chip was all i needed to show myself that the bike has a big dollop of midrange with the wife on the back. SO front tyre truly scrubbed in and aforementioned additions tried out. All happy. Who needs spring

Ride out Sunday morning up to
Okehampton Steam Railway station. Big breakfast in the buffet car. Wasn't as
cold as predicted - too many layers - good to be out on the bike though.
Hose the bike off when I got home then a nice Guy Martin sized cuppa
. Sundays are brilliant.

I'm sure when it warms up a bit we can get the guys together for another day out round the Welsh highways.
We usually (well the first time) meet up at the Ponderosa and take it from there, but last time we started at Abergele and I showed them the scenic route to the Pondy instead.
And we always go slow and steady (ish) 'cos I'm old & slow anyway

Hello Kevin, yep it's the A470 between Blaenau and Betws, great when the weathers warmer, not great today with snow on the hills!! Still saw a Yoof on a 125 Ape though in Tshirt and no gloves coming into Blaenau.
I'm in Wrexham, Ian G is in Glan Conwy, and Ian has run some great tours over the years, which I joined in last year. You're more than welcome to meet up, and if you're like us, we usually try and get out in the evenings when the summer comes, to miss the Micra brigade.
Definitely catch up soon!

for me. Big bore session at AP with stopover for a lash up or 2 Might be tempted up to Wales with the boyz above if they will have me on a Ducati. Maybe Normandy trip in May if I can afford it (House is free so just ferry/fuel) Spain/Portugal tour in Sept. Lorenzo being on it big time this year. I am hoping rather than optimistic for Cal. Still Tardozzi as manager is not a bad thing.
