Managed to crack my fork lower on a 2007 factory.

Please let me know if anyone has a decent spare.

You've really got to torque those bolts down. Even slightly over torqueing and they will crack, I guess that's what happened.

Forks have been on and off a few times of late as the garage messed up the internals when changing fork seals.

Just cracked the top one on one side when tightening.

I assume I didn’t tighten them equally meaning top bolt moved more than it should.

Always nice to snap the final bolt after finishing a long ass job!

Yep, a real pain when that happens. One reason why I ve got 3 torque wrenches.
