Hello everyone, new member. I've been riding for over 30 years and have had several Aprilia. Current bikes are Tuono v4r aprs 2011 and r6 5eb. My question is, can I just fit second-hand clocks, or will I need the ecu and ignition.

The immobilisor is built into the dash and coded to the keys. If you’re buying a used dash it needs to come with original keys or with the security code for the dash entry so you can program your existing keys to the new dash. Ecu is not affected

How would I be able to find the security code . Is it on the key. Can I set it through the service section on the dash.

There is a default security code set at the factory but the owner is encouraged to set their own to prevent theft. If you don’t have it (assuming it’s not the default code) or a matching key, then the dash is in effect useless. You can’t read or erase the code even with dealer level software tools.

Not aware of any repair companies for Tft’s but it might depend what is broken as to whether a general electronic repair shop could help.

When I was drilling the back to stop the fogging issue , I caught the circuit for the fuel light.

Provided it hasn’t damaged components you should be able to bridge broken tracking on the board.
