I was back at that pub yesterday, the one that I was at in October where the bike broke down. I was having a quick half when this black talking horse walked in. He went up to the bar and asked for a pint of oats, barley, molasses and water where the barman promptly served him a pint of Guinness.

How much is that said the black talking horse.
£6.50 said the barman.

Making polite conversation with black talking horse the barman says, you know, you're a Suzuki mechanic are you not?
Yes I am replied the black talking horse.
You know we don't get that many Suzuki mechanics in here says the barman.

I'm not surprised at those fcuking prices retorted the black talking horse

Similar thing happened to me only it was a white talking horse. He ordered a drink and barman said to him "you know this pubs named after you? ". To which the horse replied "what, Eric? ". Boom boom. Ah, old ones always the best.....

They must have been in partnership with a pub that used to be down our way. It was called the Oar House. It had one of them big old hand painted pub signs that swing in the wind with a picture of this lady wrapped round an oar. Brilliant Smile

Its a half way house now for smack heads. Such a shame Unhappy

Don't doubt it. A few years back I poached a pheasant out of their car park with a .22 pcp from the passenger seat of a mates car while driving by and then ran the gauntlet to retrieve it. Sketchy, stupid and hilarious. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Made for a good dinner too.
