Can anyone who uses a racing seat unit from ARD tell me the knack of fitting it. Ive tried quite a few times and just cannot get it to fit easily, the front bits which sits under the tank (both sides) keeps either scratching my tank or the frame when i try to fit it. Im Not that confident in bending the front of the seat unit out as it starts to make that awful cracking noise. As a result The rear of the unit wont go pass the aluminium frame (middle where original seat unit is bolted to). Would i have to relocate the starter solunoid for an easier fit ??

The racing seat unit that i have been using before i trashed it, is a shorter unit from the USA which uses the original plastic/carbon which fits on the tank and under the seat, and its an absolute doddle to fit and remove .
I know the ARD unit will fit but there is obviously only one way in which to fit it, of which i have not worked out yet. Jools

I am sure it was the regulator i moved mate not the solenoid, i had to trim and do some cutouts as shown to allow fitment, after these cutouts were done it fitted with a little bit of fiddling
