Hi, give these people a ring, they have just sorted me out with a 4 stage stone chip repair Kit for Aprilia Fluo Red.Thumbs%20Up They will not be the cheapest but having contacted them twice I'm staggered by their knowledge, they sorted the paint for my mates Kawasaki engine cases when the main dealer could not Star. they can do chip kits, aerosols, and paint for spraying

A nice lady called Renata will probably help you http://www.motorbikepaint.co.uk/

Hi,

Did you have any luck? Could you post any info you found out? (I've got a ding on the frame where the gear-lever dug in) :-(

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony,

To be honest I had a bit of a nightmare. My local car / bike sprayer (who is v good) sprayed it twice for me cause I wasnt happy...then I went to RS motorbike paints because I still wasnt happy. Im not really fussy or anything, but the swingarm kept coming out brown, and looked horrendous next to the frame. (wish I had just stripped it all down and had the frame sprayed to match in hindsight!!)  To cut a long story short(er) RS sent the paint back (v v expensive) and the match was still miles out. I sent it back and they had another go. Anyway its 90 % there now but I know Ill never be totally happy with it. I think its just one of those colours that is a bitch to match. There is a chap on ebay selling touch up kits for the bronze colour for not much money...if its just a touch-up type job I would be inclined to give him a try, dont know if it will be better but worth a go. If you need to spray the bottom of the frame in then good luck! (hope you have better luck than me!) Cheers, Mark
