Hi All,
New here was recommened registering by someone over on another Aprilia forum. I'm new to Aprilia but not bike's :-) Currently ride a ZX6R c1h 636.
Tried a V twin and fell in love so now I have the cash ready to hopfully find my new bike :-)
I'm after an RSV Factory on the newest regisratation as possible and with low genuing mileage, I'm prepared to pay good money for the right bike. So 07 - onwards if possible and I prefer the darker paint jobs.
If anyone wants to get in touch please PM me :-)
Cheers
Paul (gremlyng)

I tried to get onto their website but I get some design company come up. I did see them on Ebay though the other day though and I liked the black nosed one but the lack of carbon put me off. Stupid I know, I just love all the bling that the factory has as standard.

Its an identical spec to an Rsv1000r apart from the colour so will have cast versions of the Oz style Malgatec wheels.

I did think that but then the carbon bits are going to cost a few quid and then there are the wheels which are not the lighter ones fitted to the factory.
I think I'm going to have to keep patient and bide my time.

I had a factory ( the faster black ones ) and id have had a bol d'or and added the bits I wanted over time to make MY bike instead of a bike that anyone can just buy off the shelf...just my thoughts.

I've seen a Red Lion version that tick's all the boxes apart from it's identical to my mates! And to top it off we already have matching colours on the Kawasaki's, although his is a zx10 and mine ZX6! lol It would look a bit gay if I bought an identical bike to him and it would steel his thunder what with the Millie being quite rare, I'm not about to go down that road! I just as well buy a straight Millie R as opposed to the Bol D'or if I was going to upgrade to the carbon bits etc.. But the wheels would be a major stumbling point because the R doesn't have the lighter OZ wheels. |

Non of them have Oz wheels after 06, Oz pulled out of bike wheels so they are Malgatec copies. But yes the Factory still had forged versions as opposed to cast.
I wouldn't get too hung up on that alone if a bike looks a good bet. In the real world the difference isn't great from a riding point of view.

The Ohlins shocks and Carbon bits come up for not too silly money on here or Ebay.
Some bits of interest might appear in our Raffles.
