What's the history / mileage etc, seems a bargain price?

I rather like that. Looks quite understated... then you see all the carbon Big smile

Just so anybody thinking of looking at knows....
The carbon on it is cheap wet lay and not genuine Aprilia pre-preg stuff.
The air tray has hole in around the TPS so the air being sucked in is unfiltered. (It's not one of mine!)

To my untrained eye, that carbon still looks pretty damned nice.

Look closely and you see the weave is distorted in places and it's a kind of greyish colour compared to the genuine Aprilia pre-preg stuff.
With it being wet-lay the it'll only got one layer of carbon on the top and the rest if fibreglass and the back will be painted black.

This is partly why I started making my own, so many people take the piss and about 90% of carbon sold on eBay is wet-lay.

When I was making wetly I used carbon all the way though.

Like everything it's a case of what you are happy with for what you are prepared - or can afford - to pay.

Jolly - If you can make a front fender at a sensible price (Whatever that is) I would have one from you. Mine is immaculate (Like new) apart from some slight disc lock damage - Doh! I would like to replace it but cannot justify the price of an OE item for the small amount of damage it has.

Not sure, maybe the Gen 1 factory did, and the Racing had a version of the 3 stripes. However the one being talked about is a conversion from a 2002 Mille R, if you look through all the photos I think there's a picture of the original bike.
