Steering nuts

   Im looking to make a special tool to tighten up the steering head nuts. Ive read you can angle grind an old socket to make it "castelated" to fit into the four notches. Has anyone done this? What size socket would I need to get. Also , does anyone know where I can get one of thos lock washers from without having to pay silly money?
