Hi guys my bike is running a lot better using slight throttle but not perfect,have put on new one way valve old one was knackered.
Have put in new plugs and the 2 plugs in front cylinder look perfect but the 2in rear cylinder are sooty, does this mean I need throttle bodies balanced Or is there something else I can do first, sorry for sounding like a numpty Many thanks dave |

The rear cylinder should run 0.5% richer than the front so expect slight differences. Having the CO checked and adjusted would be the next step if you think it’s more than slight.

Yep mine does, even though I had Griff tweak the balance.
It smells of of petrol after a warm start during a ride out too, but it runs fine. I had to put some E10 in at the weekend after running it on super and couldn't tell any difference.
