Hiya Guys,

I'm fed up with bleeding the rear brake every MOT so am making these out of 10mm thick ali to mount the RSV4 rearsets complete on the Gen 1 Mille/Tuono. It'll put the footpeg in three positions, standard, ~12mm higher or ~12mm lower, should cover all eventualities.

I've tried the wonderful AP workshops rearsets but as with all solid footpegs, if you drop it they break and after a while I wear the knurls off.

The final solution will be a bit different to the  photo because I cocked up the first design trying to be too clever by having too many alternative positions!

I'll have to chop off the end of the RSV4 rearset where the big faring mount is to clear my MIVV exhaust on my mille, but as you can see it clears it on the Tuono.

Cost? All I know is it's working out a lot more than I hoped, I haven't got a final price yet. I was going to get them polished or anodised but  I don't think they look too bad bare, good old Autosol should bring them up better!

What do you think?

Good on yer Clap

I don't know why others don't go down this path, I did the same for my SV1000s but I put multiple patterns in mine just because.

Like you I was going to anodize but couldn't be arsed in the end,it would have finished it off better though had I done so.
