i need to replace my clutch leaver...whats the trick to remove the brass barrel and screw in pin that actuates the clutch?
there is a small hole in the under? side of the barrel....is that for a tool? thanks.

If you mean what i think you mean, pushrod is held in via a 3mm hex screw. Remove screw and slide out pushrod, once pushrod is out the barrel it slides through can slide out of the lever

You may be right but all his other posts referred to a yellow Rsv so i assumed he had just posted in the wrong section.

I am right they finally resolved the clutch problem rather than sticking the slave cylinder on top of a baking hot engine, BMW hp2 slave is placed at back by shock rear wheel so it stays cool,

but RSV4 still use enough loom to go around the world with block connectors, so everything gets hot and burns out from anything from the stator to the reg to the wiring in time

No you silly billy. I know the rsv4 has a cable clutch .

Yell o r who asked the question. (clue in the name Yello R ) has a 2000 rsv which is why I answered for a hydraulic clutch. He just posted in the wrong section.

Griff is gonna give you some therapy for Rsv owners traumatised by electrical issues when he is next down. You need to move on rear brake problems and the trauma of the stator is holding you back.

Christ he's gonna be busy then..... you allso might need further therapy if you pay by credit card cos he will charge you £4 for the privilage !!!
