Angryi have a clicking on my divvy forks . i have eliminated everything else such as pad rattle/cables catching /head bearings/keys rattling/speedo drive/had fairing off and nothing is loose behind it/i have also put new oil and seals and bushes in the forks ???? it a metalic tapping/clicking?

the only thing i can see on the forks now is at the bottom there is a small plastic thing behind some shims there is alot of movement in them as if the shims are not thick enough ??the amount of movement is approx 3 to 4 mm

do i need to shim it uptight or is there a reason it moves up and down ..

this noise has taken over my bloody life ??????????????
