Hi, can anyone help please im after more power from my 2002 rsv ive changed the front sprocket to a 15 tooth (15/42) also it has a mivv end can + pc3 + 54mm throttle bodies + renegade carbon air box + and open end can ecu chip. i had it dyno'd last week and for all the money on parts could only get 117 at the rear wheel any suggestions welcome many thanks.
(whats happened to the soddin weather)

you have done the normal stuff. anything more gets very pricey.
don't be too focused on dyno hp figures. they vary a fair bit between dyno manufacturers so it's probably pretty healthy power wise.
If you really want more you are looking at a big bore motor or a later engine with 57mm throttle bodies and bigger valves.

I agree, it is probably very healthy. My bike is standard with the exception of a PC3 and according to the Dyno once fiddled with it was producing 122bhp and 74lbs ft of torque. That would be pretty impressive even with mods so I guess some are more sympathetic than others.
2002 RSVR PC3, 16/44 sprockets.

Full race can system might had a few more gee gees...if your collecting bhp, many more things can be done if you want to spend lots of ££££ ,but not usually the case. |
