...you mentioned Chris in your reply to my fuel harness thread. I found a post which I think is his on the AF1 forum about swopping out the wiring harness and he put up some pics including the one you put up. Were you involved at all in the work he did with that harness? I ask because he says he used a Gen 2 harness in place of the Gen 1 item, with modifications to the wiring; lm looking for confirmation the Gen 2 resin block will fit the Gen 1 flange plate. My Caswell repair failed and the only option left is the Gen 2 harness as long as the resin block fits. Im sure it will but at over £100, I need to be sure.

I did that, used Caswell sealant, but it's leaking, so over to plan B.

No I wasn’t directly involved Steve, our discussion was more about the cause than the fix but Chris ( Cryogenic on AF1) said he got the information from another AF1 member regarding fixing his although I wasn’t aware he used a gen2 loom. So I’m guessing there may be another post on AF1 from whoever that was.

I found some info from Chris on AF1. He said other than the wiring connector block which he switched over, the only other thing he had to do was join the blue /black wires together. The gen2 harness has a separate earth for the fuel sender compared to the Gen1 hence the extra wire.

Right, thats good to know thanks. I was expecting to have to sort some wiring out but at least it appears the Gen 2 resin block fits the Gen 1 flange plate.
