hey everyone,
replacing the fork seals on my tuono with showa forks and need to know how to measure the air gap ~ is it with the springs in or out when measuring ?

If you’re doing it via the official manual figures then spring out.

Unless you've upgraded the cartridge/ valving I'd recommend you decrease the air gap slightly over manual figure,it helps no end unless you're some sort of midget racing snake.

I think I went with -5mm if memory serves, it stiffens up the action and helps cushion on full compression as they don't use a bump stop.

Personally I'd rejig the shims in both valve stacks while you're in there to remove some of the inherent harshness on compression and add some to the almost non existent rebound.   

 It does make a noticeable difference and it's free Wink      If you don't like it just go back to stacks as before.
