I discovered two things about Moto GP today.

Firstly, it is showing on Discovery+ this year - if you have Sky TV you can get Discovery+ for free. They also have World Superbikes as well.

Secondly, the company that own Formula 1 is potentially buying a controlling interest in Dorna. This does concern me, because if you look at F1, it has taken a path that, in my opinion, has ruined it. I used to be an avid F1 fan, but haven't watched it for years because of the nonsensical rules that have come in to supposedly make it more 'competitive'.

They have also taken a 'follow the money' path at the expense of the racing. They run street races in cities that buy their way in, even though street circuits are just rubbish for racing. Now, I'm not suggesting that MotoGP or WSB will go street racing - that's just not feasible for safety reasons - but we could see awful races at rubbish tracks just because there's money involved.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
