The clutch on my rsv has always been heavy especially with the engine mods needing uprated clutch springs, I’d taken the rcs master cylinder off of my gixxer as it needs a different switch to work correctly on that and thought sod it I’ll try it on the rsv, fitted and bled and still heavy on the 16 setting so I turned it to the 18 setting, it’s made a very noticeable difference, probably the lightest it’s ever been.

They really make a difference don’t they. I never tried switching mine to 18 as it was so super light anyway on 16 I found.

I see you’ve mounted the fluid reservoirs in an endurance type style. Have you any other pics as the Gen2 race bike I’ve often toyed with the idea of doing similar.

It’s a custom yoke and they bolt directly to it.

I’ve still got it, I haven’t tried it for ages but with the clutch all rebuilt now it would probably be better, I want to ride it for now and play with that next winter.

I hadn’t had the original master on previously, it was a brembo radial billet master, it’s probably been on 14 years and is a lovely thing but it’s not adjustable, really surprised the difference with the rcs on the 18 setting, this is the previous one.

Beginning to wish I’d tried it out on the 18 setting now 😅

However Diablo purchased it a few months back so maybe he can feel the difference. Master and slave swaps over standard are a really noticeable upgrade aren’t they.

Rick! Try it out for me would you?

I’ve found it very noticeable, glad I swapped it from the gixxer, with the mods on mine the clutch was very heavy.

Yes will do James and thanks again it's mint. Got it fitted, but not ridden with it yet. I went from standard axial mc's, to radial gen 2 mc's with ASV levers, then the Brembo19 RCS front brake and now the RCS16 clutch with Oberon slave. Sure it's going to be great. House move is slowing things up though, but once I've moved I have a new garage to play in and I'll either move my shed over or get another biggun as well, but I won't be cramped, plenty of space and can crack on Big smile

Woo hoo! The Magpie returns! LOL

I've got some gen 2 masters if you're looking.  I took the ASV's off them and stuck them (the levers) on the Ducati. Thinking on, I wonder what I did with the original levers? Might have them somewhere. I'll be sorting through a bit of stuff soon. Might possibly, maybe, in the not too distant future -sell OZ's and few other things I no longer need really. Though as a fellow Magpie, it's painful to let shiny things go Ermm Embarrassed

I let my oz’s and original Ohlins go a few years ago, you look around and do a quick toting up and your into a lot of money, got a load of other things off of all the other bikes now to sell.

Yes it soon adds up doesn't it Warren -and back into the bike fund it goes Big smile

With getting the house, there's been all sorts of outgoings for surveys and legal fees etc, so it's good to keep the fund topped up from spares I'm not going to use now. Have a clean sweep through and fresh start in the new place. I've needed a de-clutter for some time on that front.

LOL
It could get worse now,I'm planning on un sorning the Mille and getting it insured and Mot'd again.

These sunny days without a bike are taking there toll,it's not like I can even disappear abroad like I was used to so it's the quickest way to get mobile again.

Looks like I only need a couple of indicators at first glance, might even have enough tread left on my track scrubs from 4 years ago if I can find a sympathetic Mot inspector. I can even slip the std boat anchor back on for the test as a gesture before the Evo roars again.

I'm getting quite enthused again.
