Sad news that Jason passed earlier today, after a crash yesterday in Moto3 qualifying.

He was just 19 with a very promising career ahead of him.

Rest in Peace Jason. Broken Heart Broken Heart

Me too Coop. I'd just turned on a stream, sat down with a cup of tea and it happened. Thought it was bad. Then the delays and air ambulance didn't bode well, but one always hopes for the best. Was really sad when it was announced earlier today. That was an emotional Mugello. Big respect to those on the podiums today dedicating the race wins to him.

every week you look at these guys throwing it in the gravel , high siding , low sides etc and they get up and walk/limp away

but this hammers home how dangerous it really is.

Yep, you're right Mark.

We always tend to think road racing is dangerous and circuit stuff generally safe in comparison.

I can only try to comprehend his families loss and thoughts with them really. Tragic he was so young.

When they replayed it on Saturday i guess we all thought it would be ok but as you said, air ambulance, delays etc its never a good sign. Yes, it was emotional on all podiums today
