Here she is...

She's got Fuel carbon race cans, Map2, Skidmarx double bubble screen, Bubseywoo mirror extenders & a Baglux kit. No plans for any other mods at the moment. Best bike I've owned bar none (and I've had over a dozen in 15 years!)

Here's a couple of pics of the bike she replaced last summer ...

And the one I almost chose over her ...

Nice shiney looking wheels on your RSV. In fact it's all shiney.

The bike it replaced looks like an F800 ? - I was considering one of those as a second bike.

The nearly bike looks like a Buell ?  - Never really been grabbed by the looks of them.

The Beemer was an R1100SS (Boxercup stylee). Fantastic handling bike & sounded great with its Laser race cans, but ultimately it lacked power (85bhp) and general sexiness.

The Buell was an XB12R Firebolt I had on test for an afternoon. It's the one the new 1125R replaced. An absolute riot to ride & brimming with character, but too impractical and nearly shook itself to bits. I'd still consider one as a second bike though...

Nice Bike mate.  Wish mine was that clean!

As for the Buell, i used to have one and i couldn't fault it.  (except it lacked a 6th gear)
If another one came up again i would get one just to blast around on for 10 minutes.LOL

Cheers Manty,

Buells are very much "Marmite" bikes, but I'm definitely in the "love them" camp. The Firebolt's a future classic I reckon - looks like it could be the last aircooled Buell sportsbike made. Now, how could anyone not like this... (he asked, courting controversy)

All of the bikes above are on standard rims. The Buell's an '05 XB12R I was looking at last summer, but I decided on the Ape instead.
