can't recommend the area high enough. Picos or Pyrenees they are both great. Notice Sabre the bike is dirty in the pic. I did wash it later that day.

It's the Hotel Posada. It's in La Hacienda De Mi Senor in Lerma. It's in the old monastry part of town which is all cobbled with some great views. The Hotel looks tiny and ordinary from the front but it is quite a size and very oldy worldy inside as it was part of the monastry complex. People are great and a sports bar 20 ft across the road. Yes we rode the bikes in so they ran for a while in reception. First time we visited they thought bikes generally dripped oil and put napkins under them but second year they knew the score. Suprisingly the other guests loved it and were asking questions and a few chineseman asked if they could sit on my bike for pics to take home. They stared at it for hours. No Carlsberg. The hotel only does Breakfast so you have to eat locally. It's within a few hundred yards of 2 town squares so about 10 bars and 5 restaurants to choose from and a very large posh Parador hotel. When are you going as I will be in Spain 10th - 15th sept. There are usually loads of Brit bikers in Potez in the Picos where we generally spend the last night.

Hi Spoonz, we,re catching the last round of wsb at Magny Cour either on the way to or from Barcelona, nothing set in stone but it looks like we,ll just miss each other. Never been to spain before so i am really looking forward to it as long as my clutch doesnt play up. Tour of Wales was bad enough with air in the system but i wouldnt fancy doing it again. Touch wood its been fine since i did a couple of mods you sugested. If you ever venture up to my back yard give me a shout your most welcome and i must owe you a few teas by now. Jools

helmet had a bit of a visibility issue as well. The boots i had then had Ti toe sliders. When we went through the tunnels in the Pyrenees it gave a great light show and scared all the car drivers. [:)]
