3 great days at Valencia. The most physically demanding track I have ever ridden. As always it is a great feeling when the track starts to make sense and the corners begin to flow nicely.

No Limits on 25-27th April.

It is a very demanding circuit with lots of direction changes whist braking hard or accelerating hard. Very good though with plenty of places to pass. I would go back there.

Hmmm. It is normally best not to ask.....

The trip was £600 to book. The flights were quite cheap £100. Hire car was peanuts £25. Depending on how hard you ride, your tyres and fuel will be the biggest cost. I spent £550 on tyres and £150 on fuel.

Nice riding mate. I love Valencia, we go every year for the MotoGP.

I will have a lot more respect for the riders when I watch it this year. I had no idea it was such a tough circuit.

To further increase my respect we had a look at the Moto3 lap times to see how we compared. We were doing 1:47's at best. The moto3 pole time last year was 1:39. So I am not as fast as a 250cc single!

Yep. That was the first time out on it. Without doing a back to back it is a little bit subjective to compare.

The new one sounds better and feels like it breaths a bit better with the race ecu and full system. It also feels more stable in corners giving the confidence to attack the kerbs. Not sure if this is due to the K-Tech fork kit, TTX rear shock or that it has the heavier cast wheels rather than the lighter Factory forged wheels. Whatever the reason, it works. I was pleased to be able to corner harder and turn tighter than my friend Ian who traditionally is very good in the corners. There is less engine braking than before which helps to run into the corners a bit faster.

It is thirstier than the previous one, but I would have bought a Prius if I wanted fuel economy.

Overall I was very pleased.
