I am organising a rideout of about 200 miles around North Wales on the 8th July
12 signed up so far on a site I moderate on, anyone else interested, mainly TL's going but 3 RSV's so far.
reply if interested and I will add you to the list
Start point is going to be junction 16 M6

If I don't throw my bike down the track at Oulton on Wed then this sounds like a plan to me! I live near Middlewich so J16 is easy for me (or somewhere between there and Nantwich).

ill try to be out for this one, may be goin out already but if that falls apart ill meet you lot instead.
i live in crewe so its nearly on my doorstep could do with a rough idea on times tho please?

Ride is 190 miles.

Subject to weather the ride is on, probably going West to Corwen via Ponderosa, then Bala, Dollegau,Machellth.Newtown A483 to Llandrinod then track across to the A49.

Last report I heard was optimistic, if it starts to rain and looks set in, we can cut short or change the route.

Johnny,
Top run & some great roads. The sound of all those V.Twins together was excellent!
I must remember to check my oil level before I set out next time! [:I] (Maintenance, what's that then?)
I don't know what happened to the "2nd Man Policy" on the run to Newtown...I was 6th man through at the T junction turning left & there was then a big gap to the others...So, I stopped and did the honours of pointing the rest in the right direction...What I didn't know is that Phil (BMW?) was no longer at the back...So I waited, and waited. After about 10 mins I decided that no one else was coming through so thought I better try and catch up and didn't see anyone else again for the rest of day! [:(]
The good news is that this meant that I (almost) managed to miss the rest of the rain, just having to stop at a "Farm Shop" on the A49 when the heavens opened for about 10 mins! (Bought some Kangaroo burgers...After using the shop for shelter for 10 mins)! [}:)]
Overall a great ride & I look forward to the next. [:D]

To poshjohnny & all who attended,
i had an amazin dayout an met some good people & so did my mates on zx6 & the rf900.A well oranized an well planned rideout!!! chris on the zx6 said that he rode the route again in his sleep!!! an that he rearly enjoyd himself.
it was nice to let my hair down and riding in a group was fun to, looking forward to another rideout if theres one planned in september?
p.s an yeh i did have a small accident in my pants wen i did some hedge cutting he! he![:D]
