new to me......(got distracted by a gsxr750 for a couple of years)

f**k me it shifts. In a good way.
Bit of clutch slip tho with quick clutchless shifts at pace. Not sure whether the cheapo levers might have something to do with this or oil type?!?
Need a new speedo sensor......and a non-frightening sidestand.
Will be along to the scottish rideouts

Cheers! Been on the lookout for quite a while for one of these - so chuffed to finally get my mitts on one.
Needed to scratch the v-twin itch. It's a different beast to the gsxr.
Red was not top of the list but it surprised me in the flesh so went for it.
Rim tape's got to go and I need a double bubble screen being a lanky git. Let the fettling/brrrrapping begin.
Love it!

Very nice. I don't think there is a bad colour for the rsv. Just some faster than others ;-). Make sure rear disc bolts are standard as they use these as the speedo pickup. I also came from a gixer 750, love the grunt of the twin especially with proper gearing setup.

Looking good in red mate, very tidy. Your slipping clutch may well be the levers, when I swapped mine they took a bit of adjusting to stop it slipping.

Glasgow southside - always up for a spin if possible
Will check out the disc bolts but a quick check of voltages at the speedo connector says everything's ok until the sensor is plugged in. So either the cable's gubbed or the sensor. Not sure you can dismantle the sensor to check the cable continuity?

Just spent an hour plus filing and tweaking the clutch lever to get the right amount of play in it - so hopefully that'll do the trick.

oh ho ho ho ho it's all starting to make sense
few tweeks to the suspension to suit me and it handles a whole lot better. f**k me I need a steering damper though. Any recommendations out there?
And cheers to the dude on the TL1000s I rode out from muirkirk with - headed a different way in the clyde valley. Doesn't look like your bike has any handling issues to me mate ;)
