Picked this up tonight, 96 Bandit, 80 feels like 120...going to use this as a general run around / winter hack, decent old thing and easy enough to work on myself

Soon progressed to a tuned 1200 bandit then a gsxr1100 street fighter with single sided swingarm etc then another gsxr1100 bored out to a 1216 etc then the mille
Usual mods on the 600... Smaller front sprocket,double headlights,race can,rental bars,undertray... |

Had a better look around this today with more time, the ignition barrel is very worn so there's a knack in getting the key right so than needs sorted, its got a Scotoiler V system which is good and just needed primed, I'd have bought one anyway for what I'm going to use this for.
Its got a new chain and sprockets and pads all round, right hand pads rubbing on the disk so needs more investigation. it didnt tick over very well without some choke when i viewed and the guy said he didn't want to spend money sorting that problem it, i had a fiddle today turns out idle screw just needed adjusted, its a pig to reach sitting in the middle of the bank of carbs, some perseverance and that's sorted and its idling well, going to buy a Carbtune vacuum gauge and have a go at balancing the carbs myself. If anyone out there got a set doing nothing get in touch ill buy them. Oh and the right hand side is more salmon pink color, one of the previous owners was a teacher who parked it in the same place at school for 5 years ffs |
