just done a oil and filter change on my gen 2 tuono and noticed there is no oil light. there is a red light that comes on when you turn on the ignition but goes off before you start the engine any thoughts faulty oil sender switch.

I’d suspect it to come on if faulty not stay off. Try unplugging it and see what the dash throws up. 
Cant personally recall how to do diagnostic on a gen1 off hand?

From memory there is no oil light. The triangle is the general warning light and oil is indicated in the lcd by an oil can symbol
