Hey all
After a bit of info about how much on one of these shocks can be replaced/renewed. I've just put a new bottom mounting bush assembly in it but its looking very tired.
Is the bottom mounting eye replaceable, mine has a bit of corrosion or a graze on it. Does it just unscrew after undoing the locking nut?
How do I go about changing the spring? Drop all the preload off it and then undo the C cup thing at the bottom?
Cheers folks

Yes the bottom eye just unscrews and your right about the spring removal.

If it’s looking that tired I’d be looking at getting it fully serviced as the oil is probably way past it’s best.

Cheers dudes
Unfortunately current funds dictate that a postponement on a full shock service is necessary, so trying to do as much as I can myself.
I was going to swap the old girl for a 1050 speed triple but that'll wait til next tear now as there are one or ten things I want to sort out before selling it on.
Just had Griff service my forks, just seeviced the linkage bearings and replaced the shock bottom bush/bearing, needs new uprated battery cables, carbon faiting infills refinishing (gone dull) some stickers replacing, and a few nuts n bolts swapping for less sh1t ones.
