Hi all,  I went out for a blast  today on my edwards rsvr, Stopped for brew and noticed fork oil pissing from one of the seals.
Is this a common prob with the Ohlins forks, as the bikes only covered 4k from new?
Also can anyone point me in the direction of someone around glasgow/east ayrshire who knows there `Ohlins. Regards, Chris

Just had the same problem with my Edwards a few weeks ago.I took the forks out and took them to Colin in the Suzuki Centre in Ayr. They did not have the tool for the top cap so I came to an agreement with them to pay some of it when they got it.They have the tool now.
Not a cheap job as they need Ohlins oil plus the seals plus labour.
The seals don't seem like sitting over winter.
Got my forks back the other week and they were fine.
Speak to Archie Frew the mechanic.

Andy

Unfortunately I was in the US working, been here for 6 months and never know which weeks i'll be back, shame really as it was a good day last year.  What was it like this time, decent weather?  Not seen a single Ape around here though, lots of Dukes though, the roads are terrible and nobody wears a helmet, mad.

So, did you have to split your time between the Ducati lot and the Aprilia boys now you've left the fold?  And how is the new beast?

Weather was ok this year but very windy later in the day. we stayed dry at least although aprilia numbers seemed to be down. there were 4 aprilia's at Gordano although 30 odd came in from another route.

Duke is good. very pleased so far.

I did Daytona speed week once in the states. they are a bit mad where bikes are concerned. Which part of the Us have they put you in ? And can i come for a holiday if it's sunny where you are. Big smile

Spoonz

I'm working in Main, and staying in New Hampshire.  Cool at first as it's a really nice place, but like most places you just end up missing home, especially as i can't ski here now all the snow's gone.

Holidays would not be a problem, as long as you're happy to live up to your name when sharing a bed, it gets cold up here you know...
