Today I paid a deposit on a 2003 Aprilia RSVR1000 and will pick it up tomorrow. It's yellow and, in my eyes at least, is a real thing of beauty. Will post some pictures once I set up photobucket.

Please do give me your advise on the bike as I'm new to the brand and very excited about it!!

Best Mille in the best colour in my totally unbiased opinion. Wonder if it's one of the Eddy-ish bikes?

That was not my garage, was the sellers. I have it home now and am thrilled with it. Going to give it an oil and filter change, install a battery charger lead plug in to it, remove the panels and have a good look, get some insurance and take it for a spin next week. In the interim plan on sitting in the shed with a coffee and staring at it!! It does appear to be in very good nick and well maintained, the owner did tell me it was ready for an oil change so that's first order of business. Will post a picture or two in my shed.

The bike with the white fairing is a series 2 TR750 replica I'm building. Thanks for your comments re shed, spent lots of hours in it. Got the faring off the Aprilia, looks fine with no surprises ..........surprisingly! Going to do all the fluids so suspect will be looking for guidance re clutch and back brake bleeds.

I like the sound of the TR750, I am an old two stroke dog and used to work on RGBs TZ 350, 700 and 750, but the RGB 500 was my favourite engine.
My friend had a ride on a H2 triple but with an extra Clynder making it a 1000cc he said it was amazing, I will see if I can post some pictures of it. Good luck with the TR750.

Thanks, I'll post a picture of it tomorrow. Your 4 cylinder Kawasaki is in a whole different league than my TR750 project, would like to a see a picture of it so please post it.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/motorbikes/11290917/Flying-Millyard-review.html

This is the man that makes these wonderful multi engines.
This is an article about some of them the Kwak 4 is there somewhere, i will post some pictures of actual one that our friend owns which is taken over yo the classic every year.
I would recommend reverse bleeding for the clutch and even the brakes, so quick and easy.

Your shed takes me back, unfortunately since my mate passed away it was all sold, his son kept two of the bike's, a Ducati and a RGB mk1 which I will have the job of rebuilding as it's in bits.
