Got a blue 2001 mille 10,000 miles on the clock. Looking at getting new sprocket and chain set this weekend, read loads on the forum but still unsure what combination run with? Not worried about losing top end any suggestions?

1644 works well - that's 1 down on the front 2 up on the rear ... 1 tooth down on the front is the same as increasing 3 teeth on the rear. Top speed is not really affected unless you make a habit of travelling at 160 MPH + everywhere and lower speed response is much better, it also removes a lot of the jerkiness you can get when filtering trhough town traffic in lower gears at low revs. I'm sure you have somewhere to get it all but if not they are all in stock on the site.

I think Ive seen that blue Mille parked up in Dawlish high street one evening back end of the summer. Feels like a small world all of a sudden.
