I'll never forget when i used to teach learners bike training, had some 16 year twat, spoilt to fook, turn up with his old man, and was cocky as cock gets, they unloaded his spanking new twist n go from the trailor and wheeled it into the playground, where he started it up, gave it full throttle and it shot forwards and then went vertically up a chain link fence, before realising that we have gravity, and then proceeded to dump him, and its plastics all over the yard. everyone except him and his old man were creased up, they picked all the bits up, loaded the remains back on the trailor and were never seen again. it still brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. Happy days...

You always get one in every group don't you?
I did track school at Oulton years (many) ago and this young lad turned up wearing matching leathers,gloves ,boots,helmet the lot,we were all very impressed as the rest of us there were in assorted leather jackets,jeans etc. He didn't need a push start (race kitted yam 350's) as he knew how to paddle start it himself,very impressive. Once the sessions started he was the biggest waste of space ever to throw a leg over a bike,he never came back after lunch Must have told his rich parents he needed all this gear and it would make him a racer. |
