Hi all,
I’ve just swapped all the plastics on my Y plate RSV. All good until I came to fit the headlight. The aperture of the new headlight fairing is only 300mm across roughly where the original is 320mm. Did that change the size early on and if so what year headlight do I need to be looking for?

The fairing generally changed in 01 along with the headlight. So you must have fitted 01> plastics if the headlight doesn’t fit.

Thanks for that, the listing said 2000-2001 plastics. Best get trawling the net for a later model headlight

98-00 are one size

01-03 another 

01-03 would have the extra nosecone air baffles , vented underseat panels fatter arse etc
