how much do you lot pay for your steeds then?

My best online a min ago was 163quid fully comp, didnt think that was half bad- what annoyed me more is the fact that i paid more this year for my nc30 !! my existing broker wanted 606 bucks and even more if i added my dad on the policy - so much for adding people to make it cheaper! So when i went back to my insurer again i then told them my recent find, they suddenly got it down to 222 pounds with a measly 125 excess and all the trimmings still included. Didnt think that was that was a bad result for a 31 yr old :-)

That bloomin marvellous! I pay about £360 (400 when paid in installments). It might be because I only have just bought the bike and not had it a while and I have only been riding 3 1/2 years. But I am 33 so hopefully next year it will come down a bit... I also have key cover because I am an absolute nightmare with anything extraneous about my person lol

£126 TPF&T on my Edwards RSVR
I'm 39 and have full NCB on two other bikes but don't have any on the Mille.  That was through MC Edwards with 1500miles I think.
I've just bought an NC30 and that's £50 TPO with Bennetts, also no NCB on that either.  I'm in a rural area and 3 bonus points for an SP30, ahem!

yes, bought about a month ago.  It's stock, I will do a write up on it at some point.  I just bought an Ohlins for it of Spanky on greybike.  My forum name is the same and you'll see my posts!
returning it to std screen and indicators, want to sort suspension, that's it.  My Mille is making more than enough power to get me into mischief so I won't be looking for huge gains with the NC.  That said it's the most fun/£ bike I have bought

That insurance recovery is a bit of a con I recall. Don't they only take you to the nearest garage ? as I read the small print on my policy.

obviously post code has a big effect on  insurance and Halifax is bad, but last year I paid £325 fully comp protected with Carole Nash ( 56 full no claims), including all the bull sh*t  unisured loss + breakdown and it is a multibike policy in which the premium is set on the highest risk bike, now I'm down to one bike but it is nice to know I could add one or two. CN were also very good in insuring me with  declared mods PC3 + Akras  cans ( but would not have covered a full system). They often have a promotion where they give something to new clients, when I first signed up they were giving  an £80 set of RG crash bobbins.

£300 full comp on a multi bike policy...each bike full comp with £150 xs....which was for 3 bikes.

I dont have 3 bikes now, only 2 so I really should let them know.

For my Pegaso strada and Rsv Fac, it includes ALL mods declared....including the tyres....which they did not want to know about anyway....but I asked them to make that note on my file after hearing stories about insurers welshing on an agreement because OEM tyres were not fitted...rumours mind, but not taking any chances incase I get hurt enough to put me out of work.....got kids!

Next renewal should see that drop to £160ish fully comp....I'm 41 at mo.....nackered old sh*t.
