Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my light bulbs and found these Xenon ones advertised on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160195053643
when questioning the seller to check they would fit my 03 RSVR, he said to be sure make sure the bulb has two prongs; as my bike is currently beig stored elsewhere I haven't a clue; any ideas?
Thanks in advance (probably to Spoonz)
Happy new year 1 and all, bring on the Spring!

Headlight bulbs are h7 (2 prong) unless it's a Us import which uses h4 dipped (3 prong)
Amen to better weather.

Thumper, not that I know that much, if anything, on the subject matter, but wouldn't it be important to ensure the bike alternator can handle any increased power output needs?

I bought these bulbs almost 12 months ago from e-bay for my '04 Tuono. They are excellent and definitely improve the light given out. The current drawn is the same as ordinary bulbs, it's the materials and gases used which give out a brighter light. As my bike is one that does NOT have a light switch I've run with these bulbs on all the time for nearly a year now.
Usual disclaimers from any sellers anywhere.

Hi BOB, did you need to order 2 packs, i.e 4 bulbs for the Tuono? I notice the ad talks about free sidelights, but presume these are not right for our setup? My RSVR which I think is the same light setup as yours has 3 bulbs.

Hi old thumper,
I'm pretty sure the centre bulb of the 3 is a different one as it's dip beam. Mine is on my 2000RSV so i would imagine yours is too.

Hi Old Thumper,
Mine is an '04 Tuono so only 3 bulbs required - as the kit supplied. (In other words, I bought a pack of three!) I do have a sidelight in the head light array - I can't remember what wattage but it's only a small bulb. It sits over the middle (dip) headlight. I can't remember if this was included in the kit.
To clarfiy everything before I bought the kit I sent them an e-mail - worth a try to put your mind at rest.
