Gents
Looking to replace the stock master cylinder with an aftermarket item to improve the braking feel. I’m looking at a Brembo 19x18 (I believe this is the correct ratio for my 4 pad non radial calliper RSV?) I know I’ll need new lines but not sure what type of banjo fitment as I’m moving from a non radial to a radial master cylinder? It’s a road/track setup so I think I’ll also need a hydraulic brake light switch Cheers |

The rcs comes with a brake light switch and hel sell adapters to go from radial master to axial brake lines.

Right ok, so the standard brake light switch will clip straight onto the RCS?
I’ve got the original lines on there at the moment, is there any reason to changing them other than aesthetics? Or going for a race setup. I suspect my brake performance issues will be remedied with the new master. The banjos are abit corroded but otherwise ok

Yours might clip in but it’s that long since I’ve looked at an original master cylinder, if it doesn’t you just need to cut your original off and crimp some connectors on to join the rcs, no real need to swap your brake lines other than looks if you use one of the adapters I linked earlier.

Thanks, that makes sense.
I've checked what master cylinder i've bought and it's not actually an RCS sorry, but the forged version which doesn't appear to come with any microswitch compatibility. So looks like i'll need an inline banjo type switch to use it

Yes you’ll need a single banjo bolt switch with 1mm pitch thread.

Ok great thanks.
I’m thinking this is going to be one mega banjo fitting with the Hel radial adapter and a banjo pressure switch. Hopefully there will be enough space behind the bar inbetween the fairing

You use the pressure switch to bolt the adapter to the master cylinder then both your lines bolt in the front of the adapter.
