Stripping the front end for various reasons (fork service, new horn etc) and noticed a fair amount of old oil misting from the front cylinder when taking off the strip of plastic trim which hides the horn and front header.
Not horrendous but certainly enough to be noticeable and thick enough to need degreaser to remove it. Is this ageing head gasket territory or something else do you think? The bikes done 13k miles. Gen1 RSV |

As red, sounds like rocker cover gasket, a little bit fiddly but doable at home.

Cheers fellas.
I’ll probably change it over when I get the valves checked next time
