Has anyone fitted an aftermarket HID Xenon headlight kit to their RSV?

Would the extra vibrations cause premature failure?

Yes, I have.  I fitted it to the (single) dip light on my '04 Tuono.  To date I've had no problems.  I only fitted it last week but I have done approx 400 miles.
Black '04 Tuono, Renegade airbox, Giannelli twin exhaust system, PC3, dyno'd, 16/44 sprockets, lots of CF, Griff'd.

I have to both my dips.  Buy the HID kits with the tiny ballasts.  These are easier to locate and I fitted mine to the fairing inners left and right...just enough room.

Cost me £58 delivered, came from ebay from a guy in Canada...postage was a week fitting was a ball ache 2 hours (as having to find somewhere to put wiring etc).

Worth doing, lights are amazing, but I always start engine with Mains on, so the HID are not, then turn them on once engine has started.  Just seems the sensible thing to do.
