My gen 1 will not rev over 10,000 very

Might this be the valve clearance

iirc the rev limiter is set from the factory at 10,500, this is a big twin after all, not an r6

Mine dies at over 10k mate. They do take a bit of adjusting to after an in line 4. Short shift and surf the torque!

Around that yes. I only hit the limiter on mine when I ride it back to back with my IL4.
