2008 Model-Resetting The Trip

I have a loan Tuono, but cannot work out how to reset the trip (it has a switch on the left handlebar to change mode)-needless to say, there is no owners manual with the bike. Looks like the first tankful went in 75 miles! In the teaming rain too.
 
Got a long run today (about 400 or so miles), so hope it keeps dry-and I am always close to a petrol station.
