Hi guys thanks for all the info on the oil. I've settled on Motul 5100 semi synthetic 10/40 of eBay 5ltr with hf204 filter which fit my R1 for £36 bargain 😎Even my local Yamaha shop recommends this and they want £50 for the 4ltr. Now I'm looking for coolant (antifreeze) silicate free I've been told by loads of people. You can use any automotive antifreeze my friend has quite a few bikes and race's one as well. He has put car antifreeze in for years with no problems. As long as it's silicate free but all the one's I'm looking at are silicate free but have oats in them not porridge lol (organic acid technology) what ever that is. Cheers jimmy

If you wanted to be a bit posh go for waterless coolant, I used this  all the time though.

Hi guys thanks for antifreeze tip looked at the Motul coolant I've also seen Evans coolant 180 and it's a bit dearer but has a shed load of advantages. Like dosen't boil or put pressure on the system. Have a look see what you all think. Thanks Jimmy
