When I rouse myself to get up and out I'll probably be somewhere between Abergele and the Ponderosa more than likely taking in the Brennig run and possibly calling in at Betwse & Conwy.

stuck in watching motogp as spooky is stripping my baby down to fix my suspension plates, front crash bungs and check to see if oil is coming from the open air filter or from somewhere else, oh and he's fitting my new tyres then taking her for her MOT. What would I do without him

Ride out to Aberystwyth turned out to be the biggest crock of sh*t ever. Set out at 9:30am from Quatt Cafe and didn't get there until 2pm! Cue a sh*t slow pace and barely touching 60mph on straights let alone the route, we would have just been better off sticking to the A44 instead.

Ended up leaving early to meet a mate in Welshpool, was a lot more fun on my own and after we met up. Waste of a f**king morning...

True, that's why I tend to favour the smaller, less travelled B roads wherever possible.

Also I tend to stay further north, don't very often venture as far as Welshpool as I used to have family living there and the route got so tedious I could ride/drive it in my sleep.

We do have a sort of unofficial Northern Posse run that will happen later on sometime, last time we met at the Ponderosa as everyone knew where that was.

I'd offer to lead a route around some of my favoured roads but as I tend to stick to the posted limits (+ vat Wink)  it may be a little slow for some.  Although if you want to try and exceed the limit on somewhere like the Nant y Garth I'll be surprised.

Sounds good to me Ian, I'm of a similar mentality really, unless its a really open and clear road, I'm mr sensible these days, my job depends in me driving, so I can't be getting into trouble with the law.
