A mate on Facebook is selling his 1999 Mille, its had a fortune spent on it and is genuinely immaculate,  has a very long list of trick, quality parts and is worth way more than he is asking if he was to break it,which is his reluctant plan if it doesnt sell.
If anybody is interested drop me a message and I'll give you his details,  he's a genuine lad and you'll have no issues dealing with him at all.

That's stunning ...... and so worth the money. If i had the space and the spare cash I would have it just to have.

I like my blue OZ (I know many don't) but seeing those in gold does make it look good. I think the type/shade of gold is pretty critical though as I have seen some that don't look good at all.

If I had the spare cash I would jump at it

I know the time and cost to get to something like this!!!

Go to agree with legend there on all that

I think I’d rather buy that, as it’s kinda in my mind like Jim Greggs and more unique than a regular R

As for Gold my Gen2 has more than its fair share being the bar mitzvah edition of the red lion so I’ve been calming it down for years.I even regret the gold Talon sprocket and have looked at changing it to black. Bang on with the wheels , some look crap including the set on the Gen2 race bike, where as the oem forged anodised finish on the 03 R and Gen2’s forged rims is very nice and rich

It's a peach isn't it,  he's gutted  to be selling up after all that effort but needs must and all that at the minute☹.
I honestly think its one of the nicest ones I've ever seen, very subtle but absolutely all the right bits ....had some numpty on Facebook saying he wouldn't get anywhere near his asking price by the time he'd split it as him and his mate split an 03 R and only got £1800 for all the parts🙈😂.... I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the next time that pair have some bits for sale for definite 😂

Probably unfortunate timing is a contributing factor. I know a few people have had problems shifting bikes currently.

If he has some of the stock items it might be worth realising some quick cash from selling some of the bling separately and holding out for a sale on the bike, albeit at a slightly lower spec and price. If he breaks it, 1/3 of the bike will Likely still be on the floor of his garage this time next year.

I'm pretty sure any stock stuff got sold off during the build as it was supposed to be a keeper☹...
Yeah, he would definitely be left with a chunk of the harder to sell stuff but I think he would hit his £2700 asking price pretty easily with the big ticket items,  they always sell well as long as the prices arent up in the Leicester blokes range🙈😂...

Might be an option for someone to buy it. Fit the bling to their own bike and put the stock bits in there place and sell it on. Say they got £1800 for it in a stock trim, that’s oz wheels, ohlins front and rear etc for £900, result.

Definitely Spoonz, its genuinely a steal at what he's asking, especially when you look  at what kind of hacks people are selling as track bikes for around that, or more....

£2700...wow, if I didn't already have 4 bikes in my garage.
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

^^^ what Steve said

I amused myself at some of the stuff being sold on eBay at an attempt for more money

You see a lot of these with panel changes and owners saying Such things as ‘rare colours’ when in most cases it’s been crashed and various panels sourced.

Lovely bike and he needs to hold out at that price if he can. Breaking is way too much hassle really and bits will be left over. Though you fancy this Adam? Bad apple

Too many of these being broken, especially the good low mileage ones. It's sad to see but I guess it helps us with spares and will - eventually - be good for the values of the keepers.

Plus modded collector, Arrow can, AP sets, titanium hardware, Jolly airbox, edwards ducts and carbon stuff.  Wish I had the cash myself.

Bet it's hurting him a bit to have to sell it. Would do for me.

I saw this on Fb yesterday and he said it was sold pending collection.

I messaged him asking for 2nd dibs if the sale fell through, which it looks like it has.  I'm not far from him, he's in Grimsby isn't he?

Give him a nudge and tell him to message me if it's still for sale ;-)
