Electrics

As some of you know I have had persistent problems with the multipin plug into the back of the dash.  I've just replaced another of the pins,stuck it all back together a couple of hours ago and everything was fine.  Went back out to make sure the immobiliser light was on, and it's gone off, and the rev counter is clicking and moving slightly, as if it has just been plugged back in.  The clock is not resetting as is still holding the current time, bike starts fine, all lights work.  At this rate I am going to have to strip down all the pins and rebuild the connector   Done all the usual stuff, contact cleaner, dash stripped, pins scrubbed etc, starting to get a bit miffed now.
