Bought this beauty late September. It has had 5 owners and the all must have been sunny day riders.
Very little corrosion. There are modifications done and whoever done them was very good.
Power commander hidden in tail unit on a plate mounted to the subframe.
Gilles rearsets and chain adjusters. 15 Tooth front sprocket, Supersox 40 rear.
Euro Racing quick action throttle.
Oberon slave cylinder.
Bodywork in fabulous condition.
Not sure if brown connector mod done but starts first turn.
Wheels are gold but I am sure they were blue as few chips and can see blue underneath.
One thing there is oil coming from somewhere and can see it just in around rear cylinder . and small amount seeping just above front sprocket casing

It's not the wand it's the wizard behind it.

Lovely looking bike pal. Probably rocker cover gasket for the oil leak. Good luck with it. Thumbs Up

Lovely bike, the gaskets aren’t a big job, just a little fiddly.

Nice looking bike Thumbs Up

It'd be even more fun with a 42t rear sprocket though to go with the 15t front

Yes the Dog Bone bearings. What and how do I need to do to check them.
Do you replace yours regularly.
Does anyone know if it is easy enough to do ( anyone done theirs ).
I will get parts from AP Workshops.
Thank you in kind.

One of the posts with pictures.
It’s straight forward and my preferred method is an Abba stand if you have one. If not I’d still fork out as they are fantastic

Thank you for that. I have bike on Abba stand. I am not to bad with mechanics. I would love to do this job myself ( feels better ). Has anyone replaced swingarm and dog bone bearings. I looked at link sent by wigginsjp but cannot work out how it is done.
Regards.

Fiddly bit is moving the exhaust to create clearance, the bearings don’t always need replacing just cleaning out and re greasing, be careful cleaning them though as they’re full compliment and have no cage holding the rollers in but they’re the best bearings for the job.

Definitely a diy job if you can weald  a spanner. The bearings may be stubborn so you will need to press them out using the socket and threaded bar method unless you are unlucky like I was and they were so bad I had to remove the swingarm and get a proper press on them. Once kept on top of its a relatively easy job. Bikes looking great Thumbs Up
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left
