I have 2600 miles on my '07 RSVR and have had the clutch line bled by the dealer four times. The problem resolves after they do this, but each time it has returned in fewer miles...the last time only lasted 75 miles. The factory rep. said to just keep bleeding the line whever necessary and eventually it will correct the problem. I ride almost every day and that's just not practical...I'll soon have to go to the dealer every day before I can ride. I heard this was a problem with older models but thought it was corrected for '07. Of course the factory rep. says they have no other owners reporting this problem. The actual problem I'm experiencing is that the clutch starts to engage within a tiny fraction of an inch and it won't go into neutral unless I shut off the engine. Any suggestions?

Next time you take the bike to the service, ask them to replace the clutch fluid with some high performance racing fluid and bleed the system properly.

This is strange because mine has 4600 miles on it and has needing bleeding once and that was back when it had 1500 miles on it.
The problem that was found on mine was that the little elbow on the pipe that runs from the reservoir to the master cylinder on the lever was turned in such a position that it was trapping air, since rotating that slightly and cracking the bleed nipple a quarter of a turn to let the air out, its never needed doing since.
might be worth a quick look [;)]
