you dirty old boot..........

well more misadventures in mille land, left work this morning and fired her up, running as rough as a badgers ass, really unsteady jumpy idle, let her warm up and off I went, was pretty sure that she was running on 1 cylinder so I pulled over, front header was luke warm if that, hardly any power, half way home........oomph back to bedlam

got home and instead of sleeping I hit the manual..........did anybody know that in the manual it highlights that in cold weather the coils might not work! but as the engine warms they will resume normal function.............wouldn't it have been better for the guys at Aprilia to fit decent coils!!!.....so with that in mind I hit the pillows with a mind at work.....FF a few hours and up I get, fairing off, coil wiring checked and cleaned, tank up, airbox off, bottom half off, airboot out to check plugs........low and behold the ht cap to the upper plug was as loose as a tarts snatch, lifted off with my pinkie, so cleaned plug caps, replaced the plug leads, all back together, (cleaned the airboot while I had time, all nice and sparkly with no traces of gunk).......key in ignition on, vroom.........nice.........only thing is the mrs is now complaining that she isn't running right............
