Hi there everyone, I'm new to this forum but I've been browsing the technical data for about 2 years. I would like to know if anyone has seen a '06 Tuono and my question is can I buy all the parts to convert my '04 factory mille to a new Tuono. In Canada we were unable to import the older Tuonos and it has always been my bike of choice. Instead of selling my mille to buy a '06 Tuono I'd like to keep my trusty steed and do this conversion. I'm curious about the new air intake and if its the same. A conversion like this should technically be a simple exchange of parts, right? Thanks for all you help.

Before I got my RSV I was thinking of getting a crashed damaged RSV and turning it into a Tuono. Makes sense to me that the 06 Tuono would be based on the new shape RSV so selling your 04 parts to help fund the purchase of the new Tuono parts might work[?]

hi "bikesinmud", "rsvrnewboy, "readboy"
have been in touch with local dealer and as now "new" tuonos are in country yet they dont at this time hold micro-fiche of part numbers applicable to that model.
i (as many) have not been able to get close to the new tuono as the only veiwing has been of short magazine clipits released to date.
it does however appear that the running gear is identical apart from the top yoke unit.
i am now contacting UK suppliers of "one off " fairings so i can have the top end of the mille fairing modified to give a cut away side for accomodation of straight/low rise renthal bars on the new tuono top yoke (when finally available)
this as i see it gives the best of both worlds, a fully faired tuone capable of wind free high speed cruising.

Hi,
Has anybody given any thoughts about throttle cables and electrics, or are the standard Mille parts long enough for the Tuono conversion????
