Has any one had these symptoms before
Gen1 mille r about 45k mile oil changes done regularly and day ti day running is fine ie notts to matlock hot day all fine But done a few trackdays when hot and after the session when restarting for the next session it smokes although my son says it doesnt smoke when riding, i know its ridden harder on track but wondered if any one has had these symptons and what it was if fixed

If it generally always happens after the bike has stood for a while it might be the valve stem seals. They harden over time and allow a little oil to creep down the valve and into the cylinder. Whilst running the creep rate isn’t enough to show although sometimes a following rider might get a whiff of it. The thinner the oil (when it’s hot) the more it’s likely to happen.

Only does it on trackdays so like come in from session 40 mins later start up for next session and it smokes ,he says it stops as we got to the pit lane and didnt smaoke whilst going round ,im aware that whilst running a small amount wouldnt be seen

Oil in airbox mainly down rear velocity stack and in the lower recess where my breather now comes in ,i have done and oil change using 15 50 and made sure level isnt over halfway just have to wait for next trackday
